Hackney Library is the first brick building on your right as you come in the Barton College main entrance. There are two visitor spaces in the parking lot adjacent to the library.

Interstate 95
Take exit 121 onto U.S. 264 Alternate East and continue straight 5.4 miles to AC COLLEGE Drive, turn left and continue 0.4 miles to Vance Street, turn right and continue 0.1 mile to the Barton College main entrance, turn left.

U.S. 264 East
Visitors traveling through or from the Raleigh area will head East on U.S. 64. Exit onto U.S. 264 East just beyond Zebulon and take Exit 36B onto U.S. 264 Alternate East to Wilson. Follow Wilson signs and after crossing I-95 continue straight 5.4 miles to AC COLLEGE Drive, turn left and continue 0.4 miles to Vance Street, turn right and continue 0.1 mile to the Barton College main entrance, turn left.

U.S. 264 West/N.C. 58 North
Visitors traveling through or from Eastern N.C. will head West on U.S. 264 at the U.S. 264/N.C. 58 merge and continue to U.S. 301. Turn right at the intersection of U.S. 264 and U.S. 301 and go 0.5 miles to Lipscomb Road, turn left and continue 1.2 miles to Raleigh Road, bear left and continue 0.9 miles to Vance Street, turn left and continue 0.2 miles to the Barton College main entrance, turn left.

U.S. 117 North
Visitors traveling through or from the Goldsboro area will head North on U.S. 117. At the U.S. 117/U.S. 301 merge, continue 4.9 miles to the intersection of U.S. 264 and U.S. 301. Proceed through light and go 0.5 miles to Lipscomb Road, turn left and continue 1.2 miles to Raleigh Road, bear left and continue 0.9 miles to Vance Street, turn left and continue 0.2 miles to the Barton College main entrance, turn left.

U.S. 301 South/N.C. 42 West
Visitors traveling through or from Rocky Mount, Northeastern N.C. and Southeastern Virginia will head West on N.C. 42 at the N.C. 42/U.S. 301 intersection and continue 1.3 miles to Ward Boulevard. Turn right at the light and continue 0.5 miles to Raleigh Road, bear left at the traffic light and continue 0.9 miles to Vance Street, turn left and continue 0.2 miles to the Barton College main entrance, turn left.

N.C. 58 South
Visitors traveling N.C. 58 South from the Nashville area will be on Nash Street upon reaching Wilson. Continue straight at the intersection of Nash Street and Ward Boulevard and go 1.5 miles to AC COLLEGE Drive, turn left and continue 0.1 mile to Vance Street, turn right and continue 0.1 mile to the Barton College main entrance, turn left.
